I asked Tom if his company liked the podcast?  They did.  They even put it up on their website.  Then I asked him, “hey, you have any pending contracts?”  He said yes.. so I told him to send the podcast to the prospective client.  He did.

Well, guess what, they liked the podcast so much they invited Tom and his team to give a full-blown presentation, personally to the management group!  Tom had competition for this business too.  Because of the podcast, the other’s weren’t given a chance to present to the management team and why?  The podcast showed so strongly that Tom is a master of his material and his presence on the podcast was outstanding.

Does emailing your podcasts directly to your potential customers work?  You bet it does or maybe you should go ask Tom Webb.  Sending your podcasts directly to potential clients is a superb way to help influence business decision-making and impress your potential clients.  His competitors didn’t have a podcast to send the management team, so this is a great example of using new media to get new business.

Tom Webb of F & H solutions group was a guest on a podcast show.  He isn’t a podcast client of mine, yet, but he had such a powerful message that  I brought him on my 101marketing.blip.tv show!

Tom presented a fascinating topic for business: Corporate Culture.  He described how important it is to define a company’s corporate culture and how that “drives” the organization, regardless of leadership!  His command of the material and his examples are very compelling.  That made for a very powerful podcast, to say the least.  The podcast was fully illustrated so his points were highlighted.
