If your strategy is merely to have materials to send to potential clients, then your marketing strategy isn’t complete.  There are two other sources that must be considered: the Internet and viral marketing.  Statistics show us that over 80% of the people who are looking for something, start on the Internet. 

Are you and or your company on search engines?  Does the Internet know who you are? Well, I would bet it does not.  So, part of the marketing strategy known as the “Trinity”, (coined by me), sends the search engines into “overdrive” on your name, product or company.  This is extremely important for your marketing mix, and leads to “viral marketing”. 

No, viral marketing won’t make your computer get sick!  What I mean by the term “viral marketing” is that your material will be picked up by other websites and possibly the print media by using my “Trinity” strategy.  From press releases to the buzz the “Trinity” creates: these methods, added together and blended into your marketing mix, will lead you to more business. 
Without a doubt, podcasting can take your company to a whole new level of success!  While podcasting, alone, can do wonders for your company, it should be integrated into your marketing mix.  “Get rich quick” schemes don’t really work.  What I always recommend is a long-term strategy of “swarming your clients”.  What does that mean?  Swarming your clients means to approach a potential client from various angles and using various methods.

For example you need a good brochure which can be sent to a client, and also a good business card.  In addition, you might also send a newsletter or a podcast.  As I said before, you need to “swarm” around your client with your various types of materials. This will result in “top of mind awareness”.  Marketing these days has to be very dynamic, and, thus so do your marketing materials!
